The new tab will potentially show all AI options available within the platform. Users will be able to explore a variety of AI tools offered by Meta, as well as those developed by third-party creators. Each AI is designed to deliver unique suggestions and services, allowing users to select the one that best suits their needs. For example, some AI tools may provide productivity tips, while others specialize in entertainment, personal assistance, or niche areas like gaming or anime-themed interactions.

To help users navigate the wide array of AI offerings, the interface will suggest the most popular AIs, similar to the AI Studio feature released with the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.15.10 update. This feature ensures that users can quickly identify and try out the AIs that are trending or highly rated, highlighting those frequently chosen by the community. Additionally, AIs will be organized into specific categories, such as those that provide general advice, support creative tasks, enhance gaming experiences, or cater to fans of anime and pop culture.

It is important to note that WhatsApp plans to remove the Communities tab from the bottom navigation bar to introduce the new AI-powered chats tab. This change follows recent updates that moved community creation tools to the Chats tab, signaling a shift in focus. While the final details are still to be confirmed, this move indicates that WhatsApp is prioritizing the integration of advanced AI features over the Communities section.
