WhatsApp is working on a new redesigned message menu
After installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.10.6 update, some beta testers can explore a tweaked interface for the bottom navigation bar. With this interface, WhatsApp is making the interface of the Android app similar to iOS. However, it seems more changes to the interface are planned for a future update. Following the release of the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.11.4 update, we discovered that WhatsApp plans to redesign the message menu in a future update of the app.

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is working on redesigning the message menu. The new menu appears when selecting a message. You can see that it is inspired by the context menu available on iOS. Note that this is still not available in the current beta version because it is under development. But we can confirm you that it is coming in a future update of the app.
With the redesigned menu, WhatsApp is really putting effort into making the app look better, not just work better. Android users like the new menu on the iOS app, and we think bringing it to Android is a smart choice to get positive feedback. In our opinion, this also demonstrates how WhatsApp values user feedback and their commitment to enhancing the application.
The redesigned message menu is under development, and it will be released to beta testers in a future update of the app. As always, we will post another article as soon as we have new information to share.
