WHATSAPP FOR TABLET - BANNER
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.8 update, we posted news about a new banner under development that would have informed users about a version of WhatsApp compatible with tablets. A presentation sheet has been released after installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.18 update so it was finally possible to install WhatsApp on a tablet.
After several days without a new build of WhatsApp due to the Thanksgiving holidays, WhatsApp is releasing an update on the Play Store and the banner about the version compatible with tablets shows up to some beta testers:
As you can see in this screenshot, the new banner immediately shows up when you open WhatsApp after the update and it informs that a version compatible with tablets is available on the Play Store for beta testers. You can discover additional information by tapping the "learn more" button within the banner that redirects to the presentation sheet.
Note that some features may still not be available when installing WhatsApp on your tablet, for example, the ability to share a new status update, live locations, and broadcast lists.
The new banner has been released to some beta testers and it is rolling out to more users over the coming days.
