REDESIGNED DISAPPEARING MESSAGES SECTION
After introducing some minor tweaks to the interface, WhatsApp is now working on a redesign for another section of the app. In particular, thanks to the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.6 update, we discovered that WhatsApp plans to redesign the section that lets us manage disappearing messages for your account, in a future update of the app:
This section, currently available within WhatsApp Settings > Privacy > Default Message Timer, will be completely redesigned in the future and it will be renamed to "Disappearing messages". Thanks to the new interface, it will be easier for the user to apply the default message timer to new chats, and to set the timer to already active conversations.
The redesigned disappearing messages section will be available in a future update of the app and as usual, we will inform you on this website when it is rolling out to beta testers.
