PRIVACY SECTION
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.12 update, we posted news about a new section called "Report bugs", that will let people submit bug reports in a future update. This is not the only change planned for WhatsApp Settings: in fact, thanks to the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.4 update, we discovered that WhatsApp plans to move the privacy section to the main settings screen:
As you can see in this screenshot, the privacy section will disappear from your account settings and it will be added to the main settings screen. As always, we will find here all our privacy settings, the ability to manage all our blocked contacts, and settings about the default message timer.
We do not know why WhatsApp plans to move it between all other main settings but probably they just want users to be able to quickly access it. In these years, this section has become very important thanks to the recent new features (My contacts except and the default message timer) and it will also contain the setting that lets us hide our online presence on WhatsApp soon.
This change is under development and it is planned to be released in a future update of the app. As always, we will keep you up to date when there is news to share with you.
