LARGER ANIMATED HEART EMOJIS
After releasing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.4 update, that brings a bug fix update for audio calls, WhatsApp is now rolling out a new small feature. Let's start with the story...
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.14.10 update, we posted news about a new feature under development: larger animated heart emojis. The feature has been developed in June and there is finally news for some beta testers today:
As you can see in this video, some heart emojis got a simple refresh: they look bigger now and they show up by using the same animation that's applied to the red heart emoji. The list of supported heart emojis is big, but some emojis are currently excluded from presenting the animation (for example, the orange heart emoji, but it seems they have forgotten to add it to the list).
This is a very small addition but it is the proof that WhatsApp is also attentive to small details.
This small feature has been released to some beta testers and more activations will be following over the coming weeks.
