LOCATION STICKER
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.7 update, we explained that WhatsApp was working on bringing a redesigned location sticker for the drawing editor. Finally, WhatsApp is now rolling out the redesigned sticker to some users on Android beta:
As you can see in these screenshots, the location sticker has been redesigned and it also uses a different light green color compared to the one visible in the screenshot published in the previous article. In addition, there is another redesigned style available: you can switch to the alternative style by tapping the location sticker.
If you want to verify if the redesigned location sticker is available for your WhatsApp account, just open the drawing editor by selecting a photo and go to content stickers to see if it is available. If it is not available, do not worry: there is nothing wrong with your WhatsApp installation, it just means you need to wait for another update.
The redesigned location sticker has been rolled out to some beta testers and more activations will be available over the coming weeks.
