After rolling out the possibility to listen to voice messages before sending them, with voice waveforms, for specific beta testers, WhatsApp is bringing a minor UI improvement now.
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp has introduced a dot on those waveforms while playing the voice message. This is a minor change but the user understands now that it’s possible to seek.
Note that, if the feature to listen to voice messages before sending them is not available for you, don’t worry: there is nothing wrong with your WhatsApp account. WhatsApp has enabled this feature for specific beta testers and more activations will be following in a future update.
Note that this update also removes the Messenger Rooms shortcut for more users.
