What’s new in this update? Discover all details below!
|Name of the feature?||Review voice message|
|Availability?||WhatsApp will enable this feature in a future update.|
|I’ve the same version but I don’t see this feature, why?||This feature is under development, so it’s not ready yet for the public, but you can see here a preview.|
|Previous news?||When WhatsApp deletes user accounts|
We published some details about a new feature that allows to review voice messages in an article one month ago.
Today we have news: we showed a demo video from WhatsApp for iOS, but WhatsApp is starting to work on the same feature on WhatsApp for Android right now!
How does this feature work? Every time you tap the stop button, WhatsApp will allow listening to the voice message before sending it!
Previously you could already listen to a voice message before sending it, but the procedure was very cumbersome: WhatsApp is making it easier to trigger, thanks to the stop button.
At the moment you see a cancel button that completely deletes the voice message: when this feature will be enabled, you can find a stop button that doesn’t delete the voice message when tapped, allowing you to listen to it.
This feature is under development and it will be available in a future update. Stay tuned to learn more and discover new features!
