WHATSAPP COMMUNITIES
After sharing his vision for WhatsApp Communities, Mark Zuckerberg just revealed on Facebook important information about new features that are finally available for everyone. The first news is about WhatsApp Communities: everyone can finally create a community by supporting sub-groups and a big announcement channel in order to bring related groups together in one place!
But it is not all: Mark Zuckerberg is also announcing polls and 32 people video calling extended to everyone! We previously announced the ability to create polls and 32 people video calling on WABetaInfo some time ago for some lucky beta testers: finally, WhatsApp is rolling out these features to everyone.
As always, note that these features are protected by end-to-end encryption so nobody can see which polls you shared and listen to your video calls.
Even if this is an official announcement about a global rollout, these features may not immediately reach your account so don't be surprised if you open WhatsApp and you still cannot create a community or share a poll: the best suggestion is to keep your version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS up to date in order to get it faster but probably, it's only a matter of hours!
