First look at the interface of WhatsApp group polls
After releasing the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.9.0.70 update, WhatsApp has rolled out a new option called "My Contacts Except..." to some beta testers, but there is more to show: WhatsApp is developing the ability to send group polls for a future update of the app!

GROUP POLLS
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.6.0.70 update, we talked about group polls, a new feature available in a future update of the app. Thanks to this feature, you can create in-app polls to send to your group chats. In the previous update, we have shown how to create a poll when the feature will be enabled in a future update but there is something more to show thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.9.0.70 update:
As you can see in this screenshot, we have finally discovered the interface when sending a poll. If you haven't voted a poll yet, you can choose the option to vote. When you press "Vote", your selected option will be shared with other participants of the group. Note that group polls, their options, and your answer, are end-to-end encrypted, so nobody can see the content of the poll, not even WhatsApp.
The feature is still under development on the beta version, so it is still not possible to create and send polls. Even if you think polls are ready, it is not so: WhatsApp still needs to improve polls before releasing the feature, and this takes a lot of time. The feature is also under development on WhatsApp beta for Android, so do not expect to see group polls soon. We will inform you when the feature is finally released to beta testers, so be sure to frequently visit this website!
