NEW VOICE CONTROLS
WhatsApp introduced a new feature to mute videos on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.3.13, 7 months ago. Finally, we can use the same feature on WhatsApp beta for iOS, including a good redesign!
To verify if the feature is already available for your WhatsApp account, just try to send a video to a WhatsApp contact. If you see something similar, it means the feature is available for you!
As you can see in this screenshot, you can finally mute the audio from the video, a redesigned toggle to convert the video to a GIF, and the possibility to read the video size. Every time you try to edit the video, its size is immediately updated.
The feature is available today for iOS beta testers. If it's not visible for you, just wait for the next updates that will help you to get the feature.
