WHATSAPP SURVEY CHAT

WhatsApp is working on a particular conversation to use on certain occasions: a survey chat! Thanks to this secure chat, you can give your feedback about new features, products, and more, after receiving an invitation. When receiving a survey, WhatsApp will always be clear about its purpose and you are free to decline the invite to provide feedback since it is optional. In addition, you're always free to block this chat so you can prevent WhatsApp from sending you new surveys in the future.

As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp is working on introducing that this verified chat is used to send you survey invitations. If you take part in a survey, your response does not affect your account, features, and experience, but it will surely help WhatsApp improve the quality of the product. It is not clear yet which surveys people will receive from this conversation, but the idea to provide feedback by using an official WhatsApp chat seems very interesting since your responses will help them understand how to improve WhatsApp. All your responses are securely saved and they are available to only a small part of people and they comply with the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. For official chats, WhatsApp marks verified accounts by using a green checkmark so you always know it's an official account. But note: even if a conversation is marked with a verified green checkmark, you should never share your private information with them. In fact, WhatsApp Survey will never ask for sensitive information such as your credit number, 6-digit code, or two-step verification PIN: it is only used for feedback purposes and, as we said above, you can opt out at any time by blocking the conversation within Chat Info.

We will keep you up to date when WhatsApp is rolling out the first survey invitation to certain people but do not expect to receive a survey soon: WhatsApp plans to send an invitation to very few people in the future so it is very rare to take part in a survey.
