Thanks to the new interface, WhatsApp is introducing a new tool to help community admins quickly access their community details and settings while making the section more user-friendly for new community members. A few days ago, the WhatsApp for iOS 23.17.78 update was released on the App Store. While the official changelog doesn’t provide useful information regarding the new features released in this version as WhatsApp didn’t update the changelog from the previous version, we discovered that WhatsApp is now introducing a redesigned interface for the community info screen!
The official changelog still mentions that a feature to send higher resolution photos is available, as mentioned in the article about the WhatsApp for iOS 23.17.71 update. In addition, even though it’s not mentioned in the official changelog on the App Store, we can also confirm that a new redesigned community info screen is available after installing this update. Just open any community from the communities tab to experiment with the revamped interface that features two new tabs and shortcuts to quickly view and manage groups, and add new members directly or through a community invite link.
If you don’t have this feature, note that some accounts may receive it over the coming weeks, although it has not been indicated in the official changelog. Please stay ahead by regularly updating WhatsApp from the App Store and the TestFlight app to get this feature in the future in case you don’t have it after installing this update.
