Before forwarding messages and media to Meta AI, users can decide to add a short message that explains what they need, such as a question, request, or specific context to guide the chatbot's response. This message is sent together with the forwarded message and helps Meta AI understand the user's intent more clearly. For example, if a user forwards a message containing a suspicious claim, they can include a note like "Is this statement true?" or "Can you verify the accuracy of this message?". This additional context allows the AI to tailor its response more effectively, making the interaction smarter and more helpful.

It's important to mention that forwarding messages to Meta AI is entirely optional, and users can decide whether or not they want to share specific content with the chatbot. Additionally, only the content that's explicitly forwarded to Meta AI will be used to generate responses or improve the service. This means WhatsApp and Meta will not automatically access user messages unless the user takes the step to forward them. This feature empowers users with more control over what they choose to share while enhancing the chatbot's usefulness when they do. It's worth noting that some users with the latest stable version of WhatsApp available on the App Store may also have access to this feature, even if they are not part of the beta program.
