WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.3.10.72: what's new?
WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 24.3.10.72. The version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.24.3.72 and the TestFlight build is 24.3.10 (563937395).
What's new in this update? Thanks to the business version of the app, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a validation process for the username feature, and it will be available in a future update!

USERNAME
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.20.1.71 update, we announced a feature in development to allow users to set up a username. Upon successful validation, users will have the convenience of using this username as a means of identification within the WhatsApp platform, reducing reliance on sharing personal phone numbers for communication.

By introducing usernames, WhatsApp not only enhances security by minimizing the need to share personal phone numbers but also simplifies the process of connecting with others.
