WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.19.10.73: what's new?

WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 24.19.10.73.

This feature aims to provide users with greater control over how sticker suggestions appear in their chat interface. By introducing a toggle option, users will be able to enable or disable the automatic sticker tray that appears above the keyboard when emojis are entered into the chat bar. It appears that WhatsApp intends to offer iOS users the same possibility of managing sticker suggestions, as it already plans for the Android version in the future. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.19.10.73 update, which is available on the TestFlight app, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a chat feature to manage sticker suggestions!

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring a new feature to allow users to manage sticker suggestions in the chat interface, scheduled for release in a future update. This feature appears to operate differently on iOS compared to the Android app, as suggestions will appear directly within the chat bar while the user types. When a relevant sticker is found in the user's collection, it will replace the sticker button, enabling users to quickly access and share the sticker without having to manually search for it in the sticker keyboard.

This feature brings several advantages by eliminating the need for users to manually search for specific stickers. In case stickers are associated with emojis from a third-party app, they are automatically suggested based on the emojis users type into the chat bar. This means that users can quickly find and share relevant stickers without having to navigate through the entire sticker collection. It's very important to note that users retain full control over this feature, as if they find the automatic suggestions unnecessary or distracting, they will easily be able to disable the feature at any time through the app settings.
