IMAGINE WITH META AI
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.14.13 update, we announced that WhatsApp was working on an optional feature to allow users to generate images of themselves using Meta AI. Through this new AI-powered feature, WhatsApp aims to enhance personalization and user engagement by enabling users to create AI-generated images that accurately represent their appearance. Although this is still in development on WhatsApp beta for Android, it seems that WhatsApp is also committed to offering the same AI-powered feature to iOS users in the future, as discovered in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.14.10.74 update from the TestFlight app.

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring a feature to generate images of themselves using Meta AI, scheduled for release in a future update of the app. Users will need to take a set of setup photos, which Meta AI will analyze to ensure the generated images are accurate. To use this feature, users will need to type "Imagine me" in a Meta AI conversation or "@Meta AI imagine me" in other chats to start the process. It's worth noting that this feature is optional, requiring users to opt in and manually enable it in their settings. It's also important to mention that privacy is always maintained as users will be able to easily delete their setup photos at any time, and Meta AI processes the commands separately without reading other messages.
WhatsApp is also testing another feature aimed at allowing users to quickly generate anything with Meta AI in the future, through a new chat shortcut to enhance interaction. Whether it's a detective, a time traveler, or a frog, Meta AI will be able to create these imaginative and diverse characters based on specific user prompts. We believe that this feature promises to add a layer of fun and creativity to our conversations, allowing users to bring their ideas to life with the help of advanced AI technology in the future.
A feature to imagine with Meta AI is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. We will keep you updated on any further developments about this feature until it's officially released.
