The exact limit remains unknown at this time and may differ from any potential estimates that could appear on the web, but it is expected to be revealed once the feature is officially rolled out. Users will receive a notification when they are close to reaching the cap, allowing them to plan their messages accordingly.

This change suggests that WhatsApp is shifting its focus toward channels and status updates as the preferred methods for large-scale communication. By introducing a monthly limit on broadcast lists, WhatsApp may be encouraging users to transition to these alternative features, which are better suited for mass messaging and engagement. It's important to note that users who reach the limit can simply wait for it to reset, as it will refresh automatically 30 days after their first broadcast. If users rely heavily on broadcast lists for communication, they can either adjust their messaging strategy or explore WhatsApp Business, which will offer a paid option to increase the number of broadcast messages available.

Additionally, WhatsApp plans to make it easier to track how many broadcasts remain for the current month by integrating this information into the Settings page, where there will be a new option to view and manage broadcast lists.
