It appears that WhatsApp aims to develop a poll-like tool to enhance interaction between channel followers and channel administrators. Following the release of the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.21.4 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a feature that allows admins to share questions in their channels!

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring the implementation of a feature that will let channel admins post questions in their channels, scheduled for release in a future update. A question is a new kind of interactive post that allows admins to ask something directly to their followers. Unlike polls, which offer predefined choices, questions are open-ended, enabling followers to provide their own responses. Anyone who views the channel can respond to a question, making it a highly inclusive interaction tool. However, answers to the question are only visible to the channel admins and are not shared publicly with other followers. When followers respond to a question, the reply is attached to the question shared as a channel update. Channel admins will easily be able to access and review all responses in one place by tapping on the message bubble, making it simple to analyze feedback and identify common themes or concerns. Since replies are private and anonymous to other followers, participants can feel secure sharing their honest opinions.

Users will be able to share questions in many ways to enhance engagement on their channels. For example, a fitness coach could ask their followers what types of workouts they prefer, tailoring future content to meet their interests. A local business might gather customer feedback on new product ideas or services before launching them. Even community groups can use it to collect suggestions for upcoming events or initiatives, as this helps channel owners plan activities that reflect the community's interests.
