For businesses that still prefer using broadcast messages over alternative tools, WhatsApp is preparing incentive to help them test an increased monthly message limit. Following the release of the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.20.7 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a feature to offer businesses credits for broadcasting messages!

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring the implementation of a feature that will introduce a trial program designed specifically for businesses, scheduled for release in a future update. Through this trial program, WhatsApp intends to offer a certain number of broadcast message credits to eligible businesses every month. These credits will allow businesses to send additional broadcast messages to their customers without immediately committing to a paid subscription.

Once a business joins the trial, the program will run for a total of six months. During this period, WhatsApp will provide the same amount of credits each month until the trial expires. This consistent allocation ensures that businesses can test the feature over time and evaluate its impact on their communication strategies. However, this business trial program applies exclusively to broadcast messages, as regular one-to-one messaging with customers will remain unaffected and continue to work as usual.

By offering free credits for a limited time, WhatsApp aims to provide businesses with a risk-free opportunity to experience the benefits of broadcast messaging under the new limitations. The trial could help businesses determine whether it's worth subscribing to a paid plan to further extend their monthly broadcast limits. Alternatively, the trial period may encourage businesses to explore more scalable and unrestricted communication methods, such as status updates or WhatsApp Channels.

It's important to note that the trial program may not be available to all businesses in the future, as WhatsApp could choose to offer it only in specific countries or to selected accounts that meet certain criteria.
