It seems WhatsApp is actively developing new features to further enhance the sharing experience, with a focus on improving user convenience. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.26.8 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a feature to forward messages and media to Meta AI!

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring the implementation of a feature to allow users to forward their messages and media to Meta AI, scheduled for release in a future update. Currently, users cannot forward messages or media to Meta AI directly. However, this feature is expected to be available in an upcoming update, where users will no longer need to copy and paste messages manually into their conversations with Meta AI. Instead, they will be able to forward messages or media directly to the chatbot with ease.

It is important to note that WhatsApp will provide an option to add more context to the forwarded content specifically for Meta AI during the forwarding process. Users will be prompted to input a specific question or query they wish to ask Meta AI after forwarding the content. If no additional input is provided, Meta AI will simply analyze the forwarded content as it is. This added context will allow Meta AI to deliver more precise and personalized responses. Meta AI will better understand their intent and offer relevant information or assistance by tailoring its analysis based on the additional input provided by users.

The new forwarding feature is expected to help users save time, as they will no longer need to manually copy and paste their text messages into the chat with Meta AI. In addition, this feature will eliminate the need to save images and videos locally before sending them to Meta AI, allowing users to simply forward the content directly. We believe that this feature will enhance convenience while reducing the effort required for users to interact effectively with Meta AI.
