As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring a new feature that allows users to filter chats through lists, scheduled for release in a future update. After creating a list with people and group chats, WhatsApp will automatically generate a new custom filter at the top of the chats list, making it easier for users to quickly locate and access specific conversations. The filter will share the same name as the list, ensuring that users can immediately recognize and select the appropriate filter to view only the chats associated with that particular list. Users will be able to select a custom filter created by a list to view only the relevant chats, allowing them to focus on important discussions without distractions.

We believe that this feature can help users save time by reducing the need to scroll through long lists of conversations, especially for those who manage multiple chats. The combination of custom lists and filters will improve both organization and convenience, as users will be able to quickly access the most relevant chats with just a few taps. In addition to personal use, this feature will be particularly beneficial for businesses using the WhatsApp Business app. Businesses will be able to efficiently track new leads, ongoing transactions, and customer inquiries by categorizing customers and conversations into specific lists.
