VOICE CHAT MODE FOR META AI
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.16.10.70 update, we announced that WhatsApp is currently experimenting with a new voice chat mode to communicate with Meta AI. This mode will allow users to engage with Meta AI in real-time through hands-free conversations in the future, enhancing the speed and natural flow of interactions. Although the voice chat mode is still in development, it seems that WhatsApp is currently in the process of further refining this feature before its official release. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.17.16 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a feature to choose the Meta AI voice!
As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring the ability to change the Meta AI voice, scheduled for release in a future update. This feature will allow users to select from 10 different voices for Meta AI, offering a wide range of options to suit individual preferences. Users will be able to experiment with the different voices to find the one that best fits their needs, making each interaction with Meta AI feel more natural and tailored to their preferences.
