It appears that WhatsApp is committed to introducing more features regarding the forwarding process, allowing users to easily share new content on channels. As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is exploring a feature to allow channel owners to forward messages, photos, videos, and GIFs from their personal chats to their channels. Additionally, WhatsApp is developing a similar functionality to allow users to share content from other apps on their channels, making the process more convenient. This feature is scheduled for release in a future update of the app, and it promises to further enhance the functionality and user experience for channel interactions.

Channel owners will quickly and easily be able to share messages, photos, videos, and GIFs from their personal chats directly to their channels. This eliminates the need for repetitive steps, such as saving media to the device first and then uploading it separately to the channel, saving valuable time and effort. At the moment, WhatsApp does not support a feature to forward messages and media to channel, which means users have to manually save and share them later, making the process time-consuming. Introducing this feature would enhance content sharing for channels as it simplifies the process and reducing the effort required to keep channels updated.

A feature to forward and share messages and media on channels is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. We will publish another article when we have new information about this feature to share with you.
