COMMUNITY GROUP CHAT MEDIA
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.11.18 update, we announced that WhatsApp was working on a transfer ownership feature for communities. This feature is designed to offer community admins an enhanced way to delegate their primary administrative responsibilities to another member, ensuring continuity and stability within communities during transitions in leadership. It appears that WhatsApp is now committed to offering more features to community members, aiming at better organizing their media. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.11.20 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on a feature to see all media shared in community group chats!

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is currently in the process of developing a feature to quickly see all media shared in a community, set for release in a future update. This section will allow community members to see an overview of all images, videos, and other media files shared within the community, making it easier for them to locate and access shared content.
In our opinion, moderators will find this feature extremely useful as it allows them to quickly review all media shared within the community. This can help in maintaining their own community guidelines, ensuring that inappropriate content is identified and addressed promptly. In addition, community members who are not very active in certain group chats can benefit from this feature by easily accessing media shared in those chats, ensuring they stay informed and can catch up on important updates or content. This feature will also be useful for those community members who often need to find specific images or videos shared within the community. This feature will simplify the search process by providing a centralized location to browse all shared media, eliminating the need to remember which specific group chat the media was shared in.
A feature to see all media shared in community group chats is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. We will share another article once we have new information about this feature.
