SEARCH BY DATE - CHANNEL ALERTS - UI
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.25.16 update, we announced that WhatsApp was working on a feature to allow channel owners to request a review for their suspended channels within a channel alerts screen. This feature was designed to enhance the overall user experience for channel administrators by providing real-time insights about the suspension of their channels, along with the ability to restore the channel by sending a request to WhatsApp. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.26.6 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that the channel alerts screen is now available to select channel owners!

As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp notifies channel owners regarding the status of their channels. If you own a channel, it's would be worth opening "Channel Alerts" within the channel info screen to see if there is any violation. In addition, WhatsApp is also releasing other two features after installing the latest update of the app: new improvements for the user interface by implementing a feature to automatically hide navigation labels and the top app bar while scrolling down the screen, and the ability to search messages by date.
The introduction of a channel alerts feature adds a new layer of transparency to the platform. Users can discover if there is any issues with their channels, with the action to perform to address them. Additionally, we believe that users can now enjoy a larger view while scrolling down one of the available tabs, thanks to the automatic hiding of navigation labels and the top app bar: this approach aims to provide users with a larger view of their chats, call logs, community group chats, and channels. It's also important to mention that the feature to search messages by date finally offers users an efficient and convenient way to navigate through their chat history, retrieving specific messages from a particular date and helping them save time.
A feature to search messages by date, channel alerts, and hidden navigation labels are available to some beta testers who install the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store, and they are rolling out to more users over the coming days.
