WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.25.11: what's new?

While some important enhancements for the text status feature are currently in progress for a future update, as spotted in the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.20.12 update, WhatsApp is actively developing other crucial enhancements by actively seeking and incorporating user feedback into the app. Specifically, thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.25.11 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on showing the profile info in our conversations!

As you can see in the attached screenshot, it's evident that WhatsApp is actively working to promptly display profile information within our conversations, under the contact name. Specifically, the profile info shown in the screenshot is "Do you like my status?", and it will be visible when the contact is offline, alternating with the last seen if it's available. It's worth noting that the initiative to enhance visibility of the profile info in conversations underscores WhatsApp's responsiveness to user feedback and preferences. Over the years, numerous users have shared their feedback to request the introduction of a similar feature, and WhatsApp is finally demonstrating its dedication to enhancing the overall user experience and adapting the platform to meet evolving needs.

We believe that making the profile information visible in our conversations provides users with a more accessible and immediate way to engage with this information. Instead of navigating to the chat info screen, users can quickly see the profile information within the chat. In addition, this improves visibility in case users have recently updated their profile info, ensuring that others in the conversation are promptly aware of any changes. It's important to note that this information will only be visible when allowed by the user's privacy settings.
