NEW CHANNEL ADMIN
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.23.3 update, we announced a new feature that allows channel creators to better filter reactions. With the new filter, channel creators can see which of their contacts have reacted to channel updates, bringing an additional layer of interaction and feedback from their contacts. It seems that their commitment to improving the channels is ongoing, as they are working on further features to enhance the user experience regarding how to manage channels. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.23.7 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp has plans to introduce a feature to allow channel owners to add new admins for their channels!

As you can see in the attached screenshot, there is a new option within the channel info screen that allows the channel owner to invite admins to the channel, and it will be available in a future update. While this feature is still in development, it already promises to be one of the best management tools for channels as it will further enhance them by allowing the owner to select trusted people who can help manage and share content. It's very important to note that the channel admin list is always private. As a result, it won't be visible to channel followers.
In our opinion, allowing channel owners to add new admins provides them with greater control and management capabilities. This advantage becomes especially significant as the channel grows in size or activity. New admins can assist in posting additional content by making the channel more active and efficient, ensuring that content is always regularly updated. In addition, since WhatsApp channels are also a means to deliver news updates and engage with readers, having multiple admins can be important for quickly posting breaking news stories, as various reporters and editors can contribute in real-time and at the same time.
The feature to allow channel owners to add new admins is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. We have plans to share a new article when we have further details about this feature to share with you.
