WHATSAPP OFFICIAL CHAT
Last March, we published an article announcing an interesting update regarding a new feature available to some users on WhatsApp for Android and iOS: an official WhatsApp chat. With this official chat, WhatsApp aims to keep users informed about the latest updates implemented in the application, as well as provide them with information regarding the latest security settings they should adopt to protect their accounts. Initially, access to this specific chat was limited to some users, but at the same time as the release of the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.15.10 update on the Play Store, more people are now receiving a new message from this chat!
As you can see in this screenshot, they revised the interface of the official WhatsApp chat, making it more intuitive for those who open it for the first time. WhatsApp has still plans to let you know what’s new through this conversation by sharing tips and tricks to make the app even better. The first message is about the two-step verification, one of the most important features that allows users to protect their accounts. It’s worth noting that not everyone may receive this message from WhatsApp, as it may still be limited to a select group of users.
