WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.7.2: what's new?

WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.7.2.
What's new in this update? WhatsApp is introducing new limitations when forwarding messages!

Two years ago, WhatsApp has published a blog post about new restrictions when forwarding messages. The blog post mentioned a new feature that automatically marked messages as frequently forwarded if they have been forwarded many times (more than 4 times). Since messages are end-to-end encrypted, WhatsApp messages include a counter that keeps track of how many times a message is forwarded, and the company cannot read this counter.
Today, after the release of the new WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.7.2 update, WhatsApp is now introducing a new limitation when forwarding messages:

As you can see in this screenshot, when a message is marked as forwarded, it's no longer possible to forward it to more than one group chat at a time. If you need to forward this message to more than one group chat, you need to select the message and forward it again. Note that the new limitation takes effect even when the message is forwarded once, so it's different from the previous limitation.
Two years ago, WhatsApp has introduced limitations to forward messages to limit misinformation: we don't know the reason behind the new restrictions, but the reasons may be very similar.
