SHORTCUT - STATUS PRIVACY SETTINGS
We published an article announcing that WhatsApp is working on the ability to edit recipients when sending media, for a future update. This feature also includes a redesigned caption bar, so you can check better who will receive your media. Today, there is something new about the development of this feature:
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp is now working on a new shortcut when you want to edit the recipients of your status updates (we explained that it will be also possible to select "Status Updates" from the redesigned caption bar): in fact, the shortcut will be available at the bottom of the screen when you tap "Status". Thanks to this shortcut, you will be able to quickly select the best audience for the current media and next status updates.
This feature is under development and a release date is unknown. There will be another article when WhatsApp is rolling out the feature to beta testers.
