DISAPPEARING MESSAGES - SHORTCUT
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.9 update, we posted news about a redesigned disappearing messages section. Thanks to this new section, it is easy to mark old and new chats as disappearing threads, and this is also rolling out to more users after installing the previous 2.22.25.10 update.
Today, WhatsApp is releasing an additional entry point to disappearing messages to some beta testers that install the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.25.11 update:
As you can see in this screenshot, the new shortcut is placed within your "Manage Storage" section and it is marked as a tool to save space. In fact, you can even use disappearing messages to automatically delete media after a certain amount of time: you can configure this setting within the section available under your privacy settings or open chat info.
The new shortcut to disappearing messages has been released to some beta testers under the "tools to save space" view within the Manage Storage section, and it is rolling out to even more users over the coming days.
