WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.12: what's new?
WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.19.12.

REPORT BUG
Sometimes, you may experience a problem when using a specific feature of WhatsApp, for example, when sending messages or you're backing up your chat history on Google Drive and something wrong happens: in this case, a bug report may help WhatsApp diagnose the issue. You can already report bugs to WhatsApp Support by choosing the option "contact us" but the team is now working on a new section entirely dedicated to bug reporting, for a future update of the app:
As you can see in this screenshot, there will be a new row right within WhatsApp Settings called "Report bug" in a future update: as the name suggests, it can be used to submit a bug by adding a description and optional screenshots. We still do not know what's the difference between reporting a bug within this section and through "contact us". It makes sense to think that maybe a report submitted from this section has a different priority, but we have to wait for a future update to discover it.
The section where it's possible to report bugs is under development and it will be released in a future update of the app.
