UNREAD CHAT FILTER
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.13.14 update, we shared news about a new feature rolled out to some beta testers: the unread chat filter. Thanks to this feature, people could filter their chats by showing only the ones that contain new messages. Due to some unknown reasons, the feature has been disabled in the next update.
Today, thanks to the new WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.16.14 update, some beta testers are now able to use this feature again!
As you can see in this screenshot, when you try to search for chats and messages you can use the new unread chat filter that will allow users to view the list of all their unread chats, even if they have previously been marked manually. Note that this has also been released to users on WhatsApp beta for iOS last month.
This feature has been released to some beta testers today, and more activations are planned over the coming weeks so be sure to keep your version of WhatsApp up to date by opening the Play Store.
