WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.14.6: what's new?

GROUP MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL
WhatsApp is working on new features for groups. After releasing the ability to add up to 512 people to groups, WhatsApp is now developing a new feature to let group admins manage their groups better. In particular, the company is working on a new option called "group membership approval":
As you can see in this screenshot, when group admins enable this feature, all people that want to join the group by using a group invite link need to be manually approved by a group admin, and this event will show up in the group chat. In fact, there will be a new section right within the group info where group admins can manage all incoming requests from people that want to join the group.
Note that group admins will have to toggle this feature right within group settings in order to enable the ability to approve group requests.
In addition, WhatsApp is also adding some new gender-neutral emoji in this update.
