GROUP POLLS
After announcing that WhatsApp is working on the ability to create group polls for a future update of WhatsApp beta for iOS and WhatsApp Desktop beta, we have finally news about group polls on WhatsApp beta for Android. In particular, WhatsApp is working on a new section of the app on WhatsApp beta for Android where to create group polls in a future update:
As you can see in this screenshot, this section is very similar to the ones we have already seen on WhatsApp beta for Android and Desktop: there are some fields where to fill in the question and their options, and it is possible to add up to 12 possible options. When the feature will be rolled out to beta testers at a later date and they send the group poll, it is end-to-end encrypted: nobody can see its content, not even WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, a release date is unknown so we don't know when WhatsApp is planning to release the feature, but note that this is the first beta update where they are working on group polls on WhatsApp beta for Android, so do not expect it soon.
