Today WhatsApp has added the same new emojis (using their own layout) in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.16.10, so Android users can finally send and receive them now. You can see a preview of new emojis here:
These emojis are available today. Be sure to install this update to see them. Note that the recipient won't see these new emojis if they aren't on the latest beta update.
