Some time ago, we shared a concept about a feature to share the focus mode status within your WhatsApp chats and we would like to share a new concept with you today: the ability to manage WhatsApp storage by clearing certain types of message!

MANAGE WHATSAPP STORAGE
Two years ago, WhatsApp has released a new feature that lets us manage our WhatsApp chats with more detailed information thanks to a new section called "Manage Storage". When WhatsApp rolled out to users this feature, the company also removed the old "Storage Usage" section, which allowed us to delete certain types of message. This concept brings the feature back, but there is a different entry point now:
As we can see in this concept, there is a new option called "Manage Storage" right within the contact info screen: this option reveals the old Storage Usage section! In the past, a lot of users complained because the new feature doesn't let us delete certain media such as voice notes and stickers, and it makes no sense according to a very interesting report shared on Twitter two years ago.
As we said above, this is a concept, unfortunately, so it’s not a real WhatsApp feature planned to be implemented in a future update. Note that, since concepts are the best way to suggest new features for the future, everything is possible and we hope to see this feature implemented at a later date.
