WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.10: what's new?
WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.18.10.

APPROVE NEW PARTICIPANTS
Yesterday, we published the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.9 update that revealed new information about the group option called "approve new participants". The feature is still under development but thanks to the new WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.10 update, we have a screenshot about what happens when group admins enable the feature:
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp keeps working on informing all group participants when the feature to decide who can add others to the group is enabled. In reality, WhatsApp was already working on something similar in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.14.6 update but this is an updated version of the screenshot: it reveals a better explanation of the feature that shows up within the group chat. As we said in the previous article, this is another additional moderation tool to help group admins moderate their groups by using this approval system.
Unfortunately, this feature is under development so we don't know when WhatsApp is going to release this feature. There will be another article on this website when we have further details to share with you.
