Finally… after 7 months from our first article about message reactions, WhatsApp is now releasing the feature to certain beta testers on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.8.3!

This is not so surprising: in the last few weeks, WhatsApp has rolled out the ability to manage reaction notifications on WhatsApp beta for Android, WhatsApp beta for iOS, and WhatsApp Desktop beta. We explained on Twitter that this may be a confirmation that the ability to react to messages would be officially released very soon… and it is!
Unfortunately, this looks like a very small test so only certain beta testers are able to react to messages, but everyone is now able to see message reactions. Are you lucky?
