WhatsApp continues to improve its application in order to introduce new features to enhance the user experience. After releasing a feature that allows users to add multiple accounts on the same device by installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 188.8.131.52 update, WhatsApp is now focusing on improving the messaging experience. Specifically, thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 184.108.40.206 update, we discovered that a very limited group of beta testers may be able to create and share AI stickers starting today!
As you can see in this screenshot, a new button “Create” may be available when opening the keyboard within the sticker tab. When selecting this option, the user will be prompted to enter a description used to generate a sticker. WhatsApp will present a set of AI stickers generated by the description previously entered, and the user can share which sticker to share in the conversation.
Al stickers are generated using a secure technology offered by Meta. You’re always in control over stickers generated by AI: in case you think a sticker is inappropriate or harmful, you can report it to Meta. In addition, it’s important to note that this feature is optional and those AI stickers are easily recognisable. This means that the recipient may understand when a sticker has been generated by the AI technology from Meta.
In our opinion, this feature brings a couple of advantages to the user experience. By entering a description to generate AI stickers, users can create stickers that are highly personalized and relevant to their interests, experiences, or conversations. We think that this level of personalization can enhance the overall messaging experience and make conversations definitely more engaging. In addition, users don’t need to have advanced design skills or access to external tools as they can simply input a description to trigger the generation of stickers related to those terms.
The feature to create and share AI stickers is available to a very limited group of beta testers that install the latest update of WhatsApp beta for Android, and it’s rolling out to even more people over the coming weeks.
